About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) – Generalist to join a high-performing laboratory team. In this role, you will perform complex diagnostic testing across multiple laboratory disciplines and play a critical role in supporting accurate and timely patient diagnoses.

Requirements

• Active Florida Clinical Laboratory Personnel License (Generalist) required
• MT or MLS (ASCP or equivalent) preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
• Minimum 1 year preferred; strong new graduates with relevant clinical training may be considered

Responsibilities

• Perform complex testing in Hematology, Chemistry, Blood Bank, Microbiology, and related areas
• Analyze and interpret laboratory results to support clinical decision-making
• Troubleshoot and maintain laboratory instruments; document and resolve technical issues
• Ensure all quality control procedures are completed accurately and in compliance with protocols
• Manage specimen processing, accessioning, and laboratory inventory
• Support phlebotomy functions as needed
• Assist in training and mentoring new staff and students
