About The Position

Performs clinical laboratory tests that provide information to physicians for diagnosis, prevention or treatment of diseases in patients. Performs specialized testing within an assigned area.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Medical Lab Technology or equivalent.
• Certified as a medical lab technician or equivalent.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
• Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of tests and confirms test results.
• Reports findings to physicians.
• Plans, develops, and formulates procedures for lab tests.
• Inventories supplies.
• Collects samples of body fluids for testing.
• Prepares specimens.
• Operates and calibrates clinical laboratory equipment.
• Advises clinicians and other health care providers on methods of collecting specimens.
