About The Position

We’re seeking experienced and compassionate Medical Surgical Registered Nurses to join our growing talent pool across Emory Healthcare’s facilities. As an RN Clinician, you will apply your clinical knowledge and experience to deliver personalized, patient- and family-centered care using the AACN Synergy Model for Patient Care. This individual will: Deliver safe, effective, and independent nursing care using the nursing process Perform thorough patient assessments and recognize how nursing care impacts outcomes Develop, implement, and revise patient care plans based on assessments and input from patients and families Accurately document care in both electronic and physical health records Assess learning needs of patients/families and provide appropriate resources Provide culturally sensitive, individualized care Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and delegate care effectively Step into a developing leadership role, including Charge Nurse duties as assigned Support orientation of staff/students in the absence of a preceptor Apply strong communication and conflict resolution skills in all settings Engage in quality improvement efforts, policy development, and evidence-based practice Maintain required continuing education through Emory’s clinical lattice PLAN system Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited prelicensure BSN program with 12 months of recent nursing experienceOR Graduate of an accredited ADN program with a minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience
  • Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license (Georgia Board of Nursing)
  • BLS required
  • CLS and department-specific certifications may be required post-hire

Responsibilities
