As our Medical Surgical Nurse, you will provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, often from specialized service lines like cardiac, orthopedic, or critical care, continuously building your education and experience. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program, upon hire
- Registered Nurse: TN, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

- Bachelors Of Nursing
- At least one (1) years' experience in perioperative surgical area or ICU, upon hire
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, often from specialized service lines like cardiac, orthopedic, or critical care, continuously building your education and experience.
- Perform patient assessments
- Administer medications
- Manage complex care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, adapting to rapidly changing needs in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled performance in extreme life threatening emergencies.
- Prioritizing, coordinating, and meeting multiple patient needs and requests in a timely manner.
- Anticipating and preventing periods of extreme workload within a shift as evidenced by good time management and organizational skills.
- Detection and documentation of significant changes in a patient’s condition.
- Assist patients to understand their illness and the effects of lifestyle including diet, activity, smoking and weight loss.
- Assess and evaluate a patient’s readiness to learn, and consider factors affecting a patient’s learning ability and knowledge level.
