About The Position

Medical Supply Technician - Durable Medical Equipment - Joliet
Position Highlights:
Full-Time: 40 hours/week
Hours: Monday-Friday; hours varying between 8:00am- 5:00pm
Location: Joliet

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Home care or other Healthcare experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive and inventory medical equipment and supplies from vendors prior to distribution to patient
• Ensures all packages and envelopes are prepared according to our policies and procedures for supply distribution
• Maintains inventory in the CPAP Inventory Management System
• Ensure that all resupply orders are filled in a timely manner and sent to mailroom for delivery
• Properly document in EPIC (patient’s electronic medical record) chart as appropriate, including any interactions with customers
• Properly maintain and clean CPAP/Bi-PAP equipment per OSHA guidelines
• Adherence to department policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
