How you’ll make an impact in this role Drive the momentum of the Peer Review program to ensure a culture of continuous improvement and clinical excellence across the medical staff. Synthesize complex practitioner data—from patient outcomes to risk indicators—to provide a clear, objective picture of clinical performance. Partner with hospital department staff and committees to uncover root causes and trends, turning "near misses" into proactive safety strategies. Lead the facilitation of professional evaluations, ensuring every review is conducted with integrity and remains fully aligned with regulatory benchmarks. Guide investigative and judicial review processes with precision, protecting both the organization’s standards and the staff’s procedural rights. Manages professional practice evaluations, including Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluations (OPPE) and Focused Professional Practice Evaluations (FPPE), to ensure clinical competency. Collects and trends practitioner-specific data, such as quality indicators, patient complaints, and clinical outcomes, to identify improvement areas.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing preferred.
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education OR experience, if applicable

  • Proficiency in data management, statistical analysis, and spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
  • Ability to present complex or sensitive data clearly to physicians and executive leadership.
  • Precision in auditing medical records and maintaining regulatory documentation.
