About The Position

Medical Staff Coordinator at Providence Professional Plaza in Portland, OR. Full-Time/Day Shift Under the direction of the Director, Quality Management and Medical Staff, or the Program Manager for Medical Staff Services, the Medical Staff Coordinator coordinates all professional staff activities related to credentialing, initial appointments and reappointments, and privileging. Requirements

• Coursework/Training - 2 years college or business school coursework.
• Demonstrated experience in communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing, with healthcare practitioners, all levels of hospital management and with the public.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Medical Staff Coordinator (CMSC) or Certified Provider Credentialing specialist (CPCS) upon hire.
• 3 years - Experience as Medical Staff Credentialing Specialist or Coordinator.
