We provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs while following standards of safe radiation practice. We ask that as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer you always demonstrate leadership for other associate technologists, and act as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit. This position would cover clinics in Thornton, Westminster and Longmont. This is a PRN position (5 shifts scheduled in a 6-week period). This position is used to cover call-offs, vacations, and where coverage may be needed. PRN is not eligible for benefits but does offer a 15% differential on top of the base rate of pay.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • ARDMS - registered required
  • RDMS(OB/GYN) or (AB) or (BR); or ARRT registered R.T.(S)(ARRT) or R.T.(S)(BS)(ARRT) or ARDMS registered RVT(VT) with OB or ABD required within 1 year or hire, or ARRT registered - R.T.(S)(VS)(ARRT) or ARDMS registered RDCS(AE) or (PE) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required
  • Physical Requirements-Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly

Responsibilities
