Requirements

  • High School Completion or equivalent
  • Previous clerical / physician office training
  • Epic/EMR 1 Year experience
  • Medical Terminology
  • Computer Literate with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced call center environment.
  • While maintaining a respectful, caring, and professional manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous registration or scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to all established workflows, scripting, and department greetings.

  • Handles sensitive matters courteously and with professionalism.
  • When appropriate, can escalate to leadership for proper awareness and/or resolution.
  • Demonstrates consistent and punctual attendance.
  • Upholds high energy and positive attitude, even when under pressure.
  • Adapts quickly to change and balances multiple priorities in a fast paces environment.
  • Thoroughly documents all interactions and consistently update consumer records in relevant technology system.
  • Exhibits a desire to continuously learn, improve service delivery, and work in a team environment.
  • Ability to schedule for multiple department/service areas in all hospital/ outpatient departments
  • Ability to schedule various testing including but not limited to procedural scheduling including anesthesia cases.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by department leaders.
