About The Position

Evaluates, plans, implements, and coordinates comprehensive care for oncology patients to ensure quality and continuity of care. Performs physician assistance, information gathering, patient education, supply maintenance, and consultation.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Working knowledge of oncology services
• BLS
• Current Alabama RN license OR Current Multi State RN License in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama Infirmary Health abides by the NLC requirements and guidelines for the state of Alabama

Nice To Haves

• BSN/MS degree in Nursing
• ACLS/PALS/NRP certification is encouraged as appropriate to patient population
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) through the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC)
