Essential functions and Roles and Responsibilities: Electronic Record Collection: Based on training criteria, identify key portions of the record to be collected and, following standards, extract and save this information in a standard format for later review. Complete work meeting and maintaining the department individual productivity standard. Record Retrieval Preparation: Ensure retrieved records are complete and ready for further review by confirming member identifiers, ensuring all needed portions of the record are present, checking file quality and naming standards and document this information into standard software reporting tools. Record Review Preparation: Ensure records received are complete and ready for review by confirming member identifiers, ensuring documentation standards are met, and checking for presence of clinical information used for compliance, including the appropriate codes to be utilized. Retrieval Liaison: Work with providers to set up schedules to retrieve records, via remote access or sent by fax or by encrypted drop box. As necessary, connect the retrieval with provider site points of contact to clarify requests made when specific information is omitted from records previously submitted for review. Traveling onsite to provider offices throughout the State of Washington is required. Being able to report to work on time and work the days scheduled is essential to this position. Knowledge of common business software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams and Adobe products. Strong interpersonal and communication skills via phone and in person. Phone etiquette skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Work independently with minimum supervision while prioritizing work to meet deadlines. Ability to independently solve problems. Ability to multi-task and deal with complex assignments on a frequent basis. Compensation and Benefits: The position is FLSA Non-exempt and is eligible for overtime and has a 5% annual incentive target based on company, department, and individual performance goals.
