About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented full time, on site Medical Records Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical office setting and possess knowledge of medical terminology and records systems.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a medical office or medical insurance environment is required
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and records systems is preferred
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record software is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential
  • Medical records: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Ability to Commute: Flowood, MS (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain patient records in accordance with established procedures
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of all records
  • Retrieve and file medical records as needed
  • Assist in the transfer of records between departments or facilities
  • Respond to requests for medical records in a timely manner
  • Follow up on missing or incomplete documentation
