Offering both inpatient and outpatient services and located just south of Nashville, our facility serves patients from all areas of Tennessee in beautiful Franklin, TN. The HIM Coordinator will support the Health Information Services through a variety of clerical, technical, and related support services. The HIM Coordinator monitors completeness of patient records to satisfy the standards established by the funding sources, and regulatory and accreditation bodies. The HIM Coordinator must have ICD-10 experience and be comfortable with coding medical records in a behavioral health setting.

Requirements

  • ICD-10 experience
  • Must be comfortable with coding medical records in a behavioral health setting.
  • Must be able to pass a coding test as part of the interview process.
  • Must demonstrate a sound understanding of behavioral health coding standards.
  • Current Tennessee Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor Degree in Health Information at an AHIMA accredited college, preferred.
  • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred
  • HWC Certification (training provided)
  • One year experience in Health Information Service preferred.
