About The Position

Mercer Manor Rehabilitation is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Records & Central Supply Coordinator to join our team full-time. This position supports both medical records management and central supply operations , helping ensure accurate documentation and consistent availability of nursing supplies across the facility. What You'll Do Medical Records Prepare, scan, and maintain resident charts for accuracy and completeness Ensure all records are organized, up-to-date, and compliant with privacy standards Process and track records in accordance with release of information guidelines Maintain strict confidentiality of all resident information Central Supply Order and maintain inventory of nursing supplies (gloves, beds, lifts, mattresses, etc.) Receive and verify deliveries against purchase orders Organize and maintain a clean, well-stocked supply room Distribute supplies to nursing units and monitor for overstock or shortages Communicate with nursing staff to anticipate supply needs

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of experience in healthcare or a related setting
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology
  • Strong organizational and computer skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with clinical staff

Nice To Haves

  • Skilled nursing facility experience preferred
  • CNA certification is a plus , but not required
