About The Position

Responsible for initiating and maintaining offender health records, responding to requests for health records, and performing clerical duties. Works closely with healthcare staff to ensure maintenance and accountability for offender health records to support continuity of care. Responsibilities

  • Sorting medical records into chronological order, remove duplicate pages, fax cover sheets.
  • Create Cover Letters for providers by compiling template with client-provided questions, specialized forms and statements.
  • Cross-checking information for accuracy.
  • Using AHS software system to determine which task is most urgent.
  • Printing, Mailing, Emailing, Faxing charts to providers.
  • Ensure that medical records/charts are sent out for scheduled appointments.
  • Scanning in medical records to make them electronic files.
  • Sorting records and putting them in chronological order for the doctors.
  • Back up other offices as needed
