The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for providing general direct and indirect patient care in a clinical setting under the direct supervision of a physician. This role collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure functionality of practice operations to provide excellent patient care. The Medical Assistant ensures medical facilities run smoothly, working in clerical, administrative, or clinical capacities, and may perform more specialized tasks.
