About The Position

Canyon Springs Post-Acute Care is looking for full time Medical Records Assistant. $20/hr Monday to Friday We are looking for a sharp and detail-oriented individual who has strength in medical records management to help support our Medical Records Department. This involves daily audits of nursing documentation to ensure that we are compliant with state and federal regulations, daily audits of other departments within the facility, following up on audits, communicating with physicians and nurse practitioners, participating in morning department head meetings, etc. PACS is revolutionizing the delivery and leadership of post-acute healthcare and support services across the country. Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a Medical Records Assistant in a Skilled Nursing Facility is highly preferred.
  • Experience with state and federal regulatory requirements, Matrix Medical Records program, and MDS is also very desirable.
