About The Position

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting quality resident care? Roseville Care Center is looking for a Medical Records Assistant to join our team! This is a part-time opportunity with the potential to grow into a full-time role for the right candidate. As a key member of our administrative team, you’ll help ensure resident medical records are accurate, secure, and up to date. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Ability to type at least 45 WPM
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Professional communication and teamwork abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in medical records or healthcare preferred (but not required!)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and organizing resident medical records (electronic & paper)
  • Filing reports, charts, lab results, and documentation
  • Assisting with record retrieval for authorized personnel
  • Supporting compliance with HIPAA and privacy regulations
  • Helping coordinate medical record processes and audits
  • Assisting with scheduling assessments and maintaining registries
  • Communicating with staff across departments to ensure accuracy
