What You'll Do as a Billing Specialist In this role, you help keep our office running efficiently by managing essential billing and administrative processes. Your responsibilities include: Preparing and auditing billing and payment information for accounts payable and receivable Processing physician orders received by fax or mail Maintaining confidentiality and compliance with state and federal guidelines Auditing MRC and MCO files as needed Reviewing and organizing patient charts to ensure accuracy Tracking physician orders for billing coordination Participating in weekly case conferences when required Assisting with general office duties such as answering phones and distributing mail Serving as a backup scheduler and entering referrals when needed Your reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to quality help ensure our office operates smoothly and our patients receive the care they deserve. Qualifications Associate degree in a related health or financial field At least 2 years of experience in medical records or healthcare billing Proficiency with Word, Excel, and email We're looking for someone who communicates clearly, thrives in a fast-paced environment, solves problems effectively, and maintains a positive, professional demeanor.
