Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- MediClear Certification (or equivalent healthcare compliance credential) required.
- Proficiency with computer systems and ability to quickly learn electronic health record (EHR) software.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly, professional manner and ensure a smooth check-in/check-out process.
- Manage multi-line phone systems and route calls to appropriate personnel.
- Schedule patient appointments, verify insurance, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Utilize medical terminology and practice knowledge to answer patient inquiries.
- Collaborate with physicians, optometrists, and staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
- Provide administrative support and perform other duties as assigned.
