About The Position

We are seeking an entry-level, Medical Receptionist to join a busy physical therapy clinic. This role is critical to ensuring smooth patient flow and exceptional customer service. You will be the first point of contact for patients, managing check-in/check-out processes, scheduling follow-up appointments, and handling inquiries both in person and over the phone.

Requirements

Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred).
Strong communication skills (email and phone).
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
1+ year of customer service experience, preferably in a front desk or administrative role.

Nice To Haves

Healthcare experience (highly preferred).
Knowledge of patient registration, scheduling, and insurance processes.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and manage front desk operations, including check-in and check-out.
Schedule follow-up appointments and maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system.
Answer incoming calls and assist patients with questions or concerns.
Document physician notes in the EMR system.
Balance multiple priorities: assisting patients in person, answering phones, and supporting providers.
Provide general customer service and administrative support as needed.
