About The Position

We are hiring Medical Receptionists in Havertown & Media, PA! The practice is seeking a personable and motivated Medical Receptionist to join its front desk team. This full-time role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced setting, enjoy working with people, and appreciate a collaborative work environment. No previous experience in a medical or eye care office is required, as comprehensive training will be provided. About the Practice: This busy, multi-physician ophthalmology practice serves the greater Havertown and Media communities with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care and teamwork. The culture is defined by warmth, respect, and cooperation, where staff members support one another and strive to make every patient feel welcome and well-cared for. The team values empathy, open communication, and a willingness to learn, fostering an environment where new employees are trained and encouraged to grow. The receptionist will work alongside a diverse group of professionals, including physicians, billing specialists, technicians and scribes, optical staff, administrative assistants, and managers. Requirements

  • No previous medical office or eyecare experience required (training provided)
  • Friendly, positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness and ability to learn quickly
  • Availability to work at least one evening shift per week (11 am-7 pm or 12 pm-8 pm)
  • Flexibility to work occasional Saturday shifts (8 am-3 pm) if reinstated in the future

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a medical or eye care office is a plus, but not necessary

  • Show empathy and understanding when addressing patient needs and concerns
  • Work cooperatively with team members across various departments
