About The Position

In this role, the Medical Production Supervisor will lead a team of Production Team Members to accomplish planned production activity, exceed performance standards, and contribute to the overall success of the company. This includes providing guidance on product questions and quality concerns, and ensuring all products, production processes, and production areas are in conformance with documented quality requirements.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Suite and TMM.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and develop Production Team Members by providing on-going feedback and providing support to address any concerns.
  • Subject matter expert to support training efforts for all Production Team Members.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.
  • Executing production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization.
  • Understand the customer needs (i.e., quality, orders, shipping schedules, etc.) and work to accomplish the goal of “Total Customer Satisfaction.”
  • Monitor inventory, including but not limited to labeling, scrap, work in process and other assigned inventory tasks as necessary.
  • Develop and ensure accurate production and scrap reporting at the end of each shift.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding quality concerns.
  • Ensure integrity of the manufacturing environmentally controlled areas based on approved control procedures.
  • Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure products meet or exceed established standards.
  • Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment and hold team members accountable.
  • Promote PMC’s continuous improvement attitude and objectives through encouragements, communication, gathering suggestions and direct participation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in production operations.
