About The Position

Establishes and maintains the quality assurance program for all radiation therapy, radiation physics equipment and patient treatment parameters and execution Recommends and advises on radiation therapy equipment purchases Advances the field of radiation oncology with clinical projects and innovative approaches in the care of patients Assists in clinical studies and related data collection, analysis and publication of relevant results Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.

Requirements

  • Doctorate Degree in Physics or Engineering. Or MS.
  • Computer programming and capable of working independently and as a team in a clinical environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate from CAMPEP accredited program
  • 1+ years Experience in radiation oncology physics
