About The Position

The Medical Physicist (Per Diem) will perform second checks and weekly checks for the treatment plans (remote option for these tasks), run machine and patient quality assurance testing, be present on site as needed for special procedures (e.g. stereotactic treatments), and, as needed, help with various Physics-related projects. This role requires flexibility for both onsite and remote work as required.

Requirements

• Master Degree, DABR required
• DABR Certification required
• 5 years of experience required
• ARIA/Eclipse, True Beam required
• Intermediate level Excel, Word and Adobe required

• RadFormation Tools, TotalQA application preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform plan second check (ARIA/Eclipse)
• Perform weekly checks (ARIA/Eclipse)
• Perform IMRT QA for patients (Portal Dosimetry)
• Perform Machine QA (True Beam; Total QA)
• Do peer-review for QA reports (MQA/AQA)
• Attend on site SBRT/SRT/SRS treatments
• Other medical physics duties as assigned
