Performs a variety of functions in the medical office involving general duties including but not limited to: answering the telephone, communicating messages through email or EPIC; greeting, registering and scheduling patient appointments, collecting patient copayments, making appointment reminder calls, verifying insurance and other patient data is accurate, scanning and/or uploading patient information to patient's electronic chart. Candidate must be able to provide backup for other positions and functions in the medical office including processing medical records, scheduling, insurance verification, routing and/or scheduling patient referrals etc.. Candidate must be willing to float between multiple locations as assigned. Candidate will work to ensure patient confidentiality in all instances while maintaining a pleasant and professional appearance and conduct.
