As a Medical Office Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our clinic by providing administrative support to our healthcare team. Requirements

CMA or CPC is preferred but not required with subsequent experience or training
Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) system
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Knowledge of medical terminology

Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Schedule appointments and manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) system
Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for medical procedures
Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and courteous manner
Process patient payments and maintain accurate financial records
Assist healthcare providers with patient care as needed
Maintain a clean and organized office environment
