About The Position

Medical Office Manager Full Time The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking a Medical Office Manager , for its Skilled Nursing Facility. The Medical Office Manager is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients of the practice. This position will provide management for the practice in terms of: Operational Management Communication Project Management Quality Management of Service Delivery Overall responsibility and supervision for the daily operations of the Geriatric Medical Department and Employee Health Services under the direction of the Senior Vice President of Medicine. Requirements

Bachelor's in Healthcare Administration or related field required
3 years experience in medical practice management.
Demonstrated communications and analytical skills required - including, but not limited to, professional billing experience, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial management, personnel management, team building, and appropriate interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop and implement programs, including ongoing evaluation of program effectiveness and ability to provide written reports including results.

Nice To Haves

Master of Business Administration or Healthcare Administration or Healthcare Management, preferred.
Medical office billing experience preferred.
