Responsible to the Office Manager for providing front office support. Join our local Pediatric Specialties team over at Penn State Health Lancaster Pediatric Center! Located across from Park City Mall, the LPC team is seeking a Medical Office Associate to join the team. This office handles a variety of specialties, including, but not limited to: GI, Nutrition, Allergy, Infectious Disease, Pulmonary, Hematology/Oncology, Rheumatology, Endo/Diabetes, Nephrology, Neurology, Orthopedics, Dermatology, ENT, Urology, and Audiology. The schedule will largely operate from Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and sees about 150-200 patients/day. The Medical Office Associate will be responsible for checking patients in and out of appointments, scheduling follow-up appointments, verifying insurance, and verifying patient demographics. The MOA will also handle faxes in and out of the office, along with copay collection.
