Description Principal Accountabilities: 1. Triages patient phone calls to the appropriate staff. 2. Schedules and coordinates appointments. 3. Accurately updates and maintains patients' health records. 4. Verifies insurance coverage and properly registers the patient in the electronic medical record. 5. Communicates test results to patients when directed by physicians or nursing professionals. 6. Ensures contacting patients regarding appointments, giving instructions for the visit when appropriate. 8. Assists patients with re-scheduling appointments and other scheduling issues. 9. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: 1. High School Diploma or equivalent. 2. 2+ years' administrative experience Preferred: 1. Associates degree in Medical Office Management, Business, or related field. 2. 1 year of experience in a medical office environment or relevant area.
