As a Medical Office Assistant for Johns Hopkins Community Physicians, you'll: Provide excellent customer service to our patients at JHCP in Edgewater, MD. Receive incoming and make outbound telephone calls to schedule appointments, process patient medication refills, process referrals, and take messages for the providers. Check patients in and out, collect copays, and respond to patient messages. Verify insurance and collect demographics. What You'll Need to be Successful:

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years experience in healthcare or customer service preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • EPIC experience is very helpful!

Responsibilities
