About The Position

This position supports the Sentara Medical Legal Partnership (MLP) Clinic by delivering legal services to low-income patients within a healthcare clinic setting. The MLP Attorney will manage a diverse caseload, coordinate with medical staff, and ensure compliance with program goals and legal standards . The attorney will work with a diverse range of clients from wide variety backgrounds in a helpful, respectful, and supportive manner.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (Required)
• Virginia State Bar Association member in good standing (Required)
• 10 years of Legal Aid or similar non-profit legal services organization experience (Required)

• Delivering legal services to low-income patients
• Managing a diverse caseload
