About The Position
Revere Health is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at our Salem main campus. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about patient care, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality laboratory results. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will perform essential diagnostic testing, support daily lab operations, and contribute to a positive, patient-centered experience. We value professionalism, teamwork, and strong communication skills, as you will interact with both patients and healthcare providers. This position guarantees a minimum of 32 hours per week but may require work up to 40 hours based on laboratory needs.
Requirements
- bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science, Medical Technology, Chemistry, or related life science (per CLIA requirements)
- ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred
- Specialty certification (hematology, chemistry, microbiology) accepted
Responsibilities
- Perform moderate and waived complexity laboratory testing with accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure quality and reliability of results through proper quality control procedures
- Perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting
- Maintain compliance with CLIA and laboratory standards
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, providers, and team members
- Support daily laboratory operations and workflow
- Communicate effectively with healthcare staff regarding test results and issues
