More about our team

Our full-service clinical laboratory at HRMC operates 24/7, providing a
comprehensive range of diagnostic services including chemistry, hematology,
microbiology, pathology, and urinalysis. Serving both inpatients and
outpatients, we offer routine and STAT testing, backed by a skilled team
consisting of a board-certified pathologist, medical technologists and
technicians, phlebotomists, and support staff. Committed to accuracy and
timeliness, we deliver the critical results providers need to ensure the best
possible patient care.

Requirements

• Applicants should have a current state MLT ASCP, AMT or NCA license
• Possess an associate's degree in Applied Science or Clinical Laboratory Science from an accredited college.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience preferred
• ASLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs common testing procedures and reports test results.
• Performs instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Performs quality control testing.
• Maintains supplies needed for performance of tests.
• Analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits, and reports/documents results per organizational standards.
• Collects samples and analyzes bodily fluids and substances for abnormalities.
• Collects blood and studies blood samples used in transfusions.
