About The Position
Work Schedule: 100% FTE, 40 hours per week. Scheduled shifts are Monday – Friday, 1:30 pm – 10:00 pm. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We are seeking a Medical Interpreter to: Provide accurate and professional Spanish interpretation to UW Health patients, families and staff in a wide variety of settings and specialty areas. Assist the Manager with daily operations such as scheduling interpreter appointments, processing interpreter payments and maintaining the interpreter database. Requirements
- High School Diploma Required
- 1 year of interpretation experience Required
- National healthcare interpreter certification (CHI) Upon Hire Required
Nice To Haves
- Post-high school related coursework/degree Preferred
- Healthcare interpretation experience Preferred
