The Position: We are looking for an Insurance Collector to join the team! The Insurance Collector is a member of the team responsible for coordinating and processing patient and insurance billing.

Requirements

High school diploma
Experience with Microsoft office
Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well
Team Player: Works well as a member of a group
Goal Completion: Inspired to perform well by the completion of tasks
Self-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside help

Nice To Haves

1 year of denial experience, preferred

Responsibilities

Submitting claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance companies to secure payment
Works on insurance portals to key and correct claims
Research and investigate billing policies to resolve all claim denials
Regular follow up with insurance companies for claim status
Works to achieve daily and monthly performance metrics
