Requirements
- Be currently enrolled in a bachelor's or higher degree program in Health or Medical Informatics, Nursing, or related discipline
- Be familiar with medical code sets such as but not limited to SNOMED, ICD, NDC, and RxNorm.
Nice To Haves
- Have a 3.0+ GPA (preferred)
- Have a clinical background (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Assist the Medical Informatics and Data Science team on projects related to improving the quality of data in ambulatory health.
- Assist in mining new data to support Life Sciences Solutions.
- Improve large research datasets
- Use medical code to guide research
- Work alongside Medical Informaticists on tasks involving and revolving code set management and value set creations
- Perform additional duties and provide additional support as directed by manager
