About The Position

Vancouver Clinic is seeking a Medical Front Desk Representative for their Battle Ground location. This part-time role involves working Monday through Friday, 20 hours per week, from 4pm to 8pm. The successful candidate will possess a friendly demeanor, a great attitude, and a desire to positively impact patients. The role requires the ability to multitask, work collaboratively in a team, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. Excellent, consistent, dependable, and predictable attendance is crucial for providing high-quality, compassionate care. Vancouver Clinic offers care across a wide range of medical decisions, including vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender-affirming treatment. The ability to work with a diverse population of patients and colleagues, with or without reasonable accommodation, is an essential function. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required
  • Excellent phone skills and customer service behaviors
  • Strong computer keyboarding skills required
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to work well with others as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attendance; consistent, dependable, and predictable attendance
  • Ability to work, with or without reasonable accommodation, with a diverse population of patients and colleagues seeking or considering care in all areas

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 1 year of medical front office experience preferred
  • Experience with Epic preferred

Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent customer service to patients by welcoming and greeting patients and their families
  • Collecting co-pays
  • Obtaining and completing insurance information
