Position Purpose: Medical Front Desk I is an entry-level position responsible for providing essential front-office support under direct supervision. This role is designed for individuals with one or more medical front office or customer service experiences who are developing their administrative skills in a healthcare environment. Front Desk I must be able to assist patients and clinic staff with administrative tasks, patient flow, and communication needs, and deliver services according to established standards and practices. Responsibilities focus on efficient, professional, and compassionate support to patients, including check-in, check-out, appointment coordination, and front-office operations. Front Desk I staff may also assist with basic non-clinical back-office tasks that support workflow but do not involve patient care. The primary focus of the role is to ensure a positive patient experience while demonstrating the organization’s core values, supporting the clinic team, and contributing to a smooth, patient-centered environment.
