We are currently looking for a skilled Painter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for painting and finishing medical equipment and supplies to meet safety and quality standards. Your attention to detail and craftsmanship will help maintain the aesthetic and functional integrity of our products. This position will be worked onsite at our facility in Monument, CO.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2+ years of experience in painting or a similar role
  • Knowledge of paint application techniques and surface preparation, a plus
  • Ability to work with various painting tools and equipment, including spray paint guns
  • Experience painting medical supply parts, a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Ability to identify imperfections and ensure quality control of painted surfaces
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and handling of hazardous materials
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 20 pounds)
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to reach for items above head, twist, and kneel
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Ability to work in an environment where there is exposure to automotive type paints/solutions (PPE will be provided)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of paint application techniques and surface preparation, a plus
  • Experience painting medical supply parts, a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed
  • Mix paint and other materials according to specifications
  • Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment, ensuring even and thorough coverage
  • Inspect painted surfaces for quality, ensuring they meet company standards and specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure proper handling of materials and equipment
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working with chemical substances
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
  • Create production plans and deliver in team meetings
  • Maintain inventory of painting materials and notify supervisors of any shortages
  • Perform maintenance on painting equipment as needed
  • Document work performed and report any issues to management
