About The Position
The Medical Eligibility Specialist provides a variety of office and administrative support services, greets and registers patients to determine eligibility for insurance and Sliding Fee Discount Program, and assists patients to understand a variety of insurance benefits.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- One (1) year experience in a health care setting preferred.
- Certified as Washington State Navigator within 1 year of hire required.
- Fluent in English and other language(s) preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
