The Medical Education Specialist will play a key role in developing and implementing comprehensive training programs for our internal teams on clinical and scientific relevant content as it relates to our devices and indications. You will bridge the gap between clinical and scientific knowledge and adult learning principles to ensure our internal staff is confident and proficient in these content areas.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a medical field (e.g., biology, nursing) or a related field (e.g., instructional design) with a strong understanding of medical terminology.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience developing and delivering training programs, preferably in the medical device industry.
Proven ability to translate complex medical device information into clear, concise, and engaging learning materials for a non-specialist audience.
Experience with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Familiarity with various training delivery methods (eLearning authoring tools, presentation software).
Familiarity with Articulate Rise to create training modules
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
Can be based anywhere in the US with less than 25% travel requirements

Responsibilities

Conduct needs assessments to identify training requirements for various internal teams (sales, clinical support, and other field team members) as it pertains to the clinical and scientific background necessary.
Develop and implement engaging training programs that cover the technical aspects, clinical applications, disease state, treatment options, patient selection, and best practices .
Utilize a variety of training methods (e.g., eLearning modules, webinars, in-person workshops) to cater to different learning styles.
Collate curriculum from Siemens Healthineers to provide high level training on relevant hardware and software to our internal team
Work closely with cross functional team members to ensure that the training needs are being met and cover the entire portfolio
Create clear and concise training materials (presentations, reference manuals, etc.) that are accurate, informative, and easy to understand.
Maintain and update existing training materials to reflect changes in indications, new products, regulations, and best practices.
Deliver training programs to internal teams and assess their knowledge through evaluations.
Oraganize and plan any necessary in-person training meetings for onboarding or ongoing education.
Track training program effectiveness and make adjustments as needed.
Collaborate with subject matter experts across the organization to ensure training materials are accurate and up-to-date.
Stay current on industry trends and best practices in medical device training.
