Requirements

  • Board Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD)
  • Two years of experience with Eclipse TPS preferred.
  • Prior experience with ARIA record and verify system preferred.
  • Two years of experience is preferred although new graduates will be considered.
  • Proficient in planning VMAT, IMRT, SBRT, SRS, and 3D plans.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work in a Varian linear accelerator environment a plus

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the radiation oncologist and medical physicist to develop, generate, and assess treatment plans utilizing computer software and manual calculations.
  • Identify and delineate critical structures
  • Conduct image fusion using various imaging modalities to facilitate accurate delineation of target areas and vital structures.
  • Perform routine responsibilities independently, consulting the radiation oncologist and medical physicist as necessary.
  • Communicate and coordinate with therapists regarding the execution of treatment plans.
  • Oversee or participate in the design and fabrication of immobilization devices, beam modifiers, and treatment planning aids.
  • Execute treatment planning processes using Eclipse and ARIA systems.
  • Support and comply with the US Oncology Compliance Program.
  • Other duties as assigned
