About East Hampton Veterinary Group East Hampton Veterinary Group has served the East End since 1929 and is the oldest veterinary practice in the region, trusted by generations of families for compassionate, personalized care. The hospital blends traditional medicine with integrative therapies such as acupuncture and Chinese herbal approaches. The practice is equipped with digital and dental radiography, in-house labs, echocardiogram capability, and offers a wide range of surgical services including dentistry, TPLO, and TTA. Our culture emphasizes communication, kindness, collaboration, and a supportive environment that allows veterinarians to practice at a high level. As the practice approaches its 100-year anniversary, we are seeking an experienced veterinarian with at least 3 years of clinical experience who enjoys both medical and surgical care. Confidence in spay, neuter, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery is expected, with interest in orthopedics or integrative medicine viewed positively. This role is designed for a Medical Director who can lead medical quality, support team development, and preserve the culture that has defined the hospital for decades. The position follows the seasonal rhythm of the Hamptons, with a busier late spring through early fall balanced by a steadier off season schedule. This is a rare opportunity to guide a respected hospital, shape its future, and continue the legacy of a practice trusted for generations. We are dedicated to establishing a culture that celebrates all forms of diversity and allows us to be an inclusive service provider in this community.
