About The Position
Centurion Health is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time Site Medical Director to join our team at Northeast Correctional Center located in Licking, Missouri. The Medical Director provides the clinical direction needed to meet service delivery requirements, direct clinical services for patients, and clinical supervision for medical staff at the assigned site under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. The Medical Director collaborates with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided, and participates in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.
Requirements
- MD/DO
- Active, unrestricted Missouri medical license
- Active, unrestricted DEA
- Missouri BNDD
- Ability to pass background and credentialing
Responsibilities
- Provides the clinical direction needed to meet service delivery requirements
- Directs clinical services for patients
- Provides clinical supervision for medical staff at the assigned site under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director
- Collaborates with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided
- Participates in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.
