About The Position

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Tennessee Department of Correction. We are currently seeking a full-time Site Medical Director to join our team in a split position at Mark Luttrell Transitional Center located in Memphis, TN and West TN State Penitentiary/Women's Therapeutic Residential Center located in Henning, TN. This position will be on site at Mark Turrell Transitional Center 24 hours per week and 8 hours per week at the Henning location. The Medical Director provides the clinical direction needed to meet service delivery requirements, direct clinical services for patients, and clinical supervision for medical staff at the assigned site under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. The Medical Director collaborates with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided, and participates in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Active, unrestricted TN license
• Active, unrestricted DEA
• Ability to pass credentialing and background check
