Position Overview: The Internal Medicine Medical Director provides clinical oversight and leadership for the facility’s internal medicine services, ensuring high standards of patient care, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Provide medical supervision and oversight for the advanced practice providers (APPs) performing inpatient rounding.
Review and co-sign charts to ensure quality, accuracy, and appropriate follow-up of patient care.
Conduct routine in-person supervision (approximately 10 hours per week) on-site at Triangle Springs.
Ensure compliance with facility policies, regulatory standards, and clinical best practices.
Collaborate with psychiatric and clinical leadership to promote integrated, multidisciplinary patient care.
Participate in periodic performance evaluations and case reviews as needed.
