About The Position
The Medical Director provides clinical leadership and supervision to CFR's team of psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners, ensuring the highest quality of psychiatric care. This hybrid role blends direct clinical practice with strategic leadership, ideal for a psychiatrist who wants to continue seeing patients while contributing to organizational decision-making, mentoring peers, and influencing standards of care.
Requirements
- Board Certification in Psychiatry
- Minimum 10 years of clinical and/or administrative experience
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Commitment to mission-driven, team-based care
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small, dedicated team of prescribers.
- Collaborate closely with CFR's Chief Clinical Officer and Clinical Leadership Team on care standards and service integration.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new psychiatric staff, ensuring a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Represent psychiatry at the organizational leadership table, contributing to policy, quality, and strategy.
