About The Position

We are seeking a Medical Director specializing in Addiction Medicine to lead their substance use treatment program in a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY. Requirements

MD or DO with completed Addiction Medicine Fellowship
Active New York State Medical License
Minimum 3 years of experience in addiction medicine
Active Medicaid provider number
Active DEA certification
Knowledge of addiction treatment modalities, program development
Leadership

Strong communication
Collaborative approach

Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the addiction medicine program
Develop and implement treatment protocols and quality standards
Supervise clinical staff and ensure compliance with regulations
Provide direct patient care, including medication-assisted treatment
Maintain active Medicaid provider status and DEA certification
Collaborate with community partners and referral sources
Ensure culturally competent care for a diverse patient population
