Medical Diagnostic Imaging Manager
About The Position
POSITION SUMMARY Position Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Diagnostic Medical Imaging, the Manager provides operational, clinical, and administrative leadership across all diagnostic imaging service lines and is the acting PACS Administrator. This position is responsible for the daily management of multi-modality operations, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective patient care in compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., ACHC, ACR, CMS, FDA, HIPAA, MQSA, OSHA). The Manager directly supervises imaging technologists and support staff, managing staffing schedules, performance evaluations, and competency assessments. Collaborating closely with the Director and radiologists, the manager oversees equipment maintenance, workflow optimization, and the implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of medical imaging.
- 2 years of radiology experience in an acute care hospital
- Kansas Licensure through Kansas Board of Healing Arts
- National Registry/Certification in at least one medical imaging modality

- Bachelor's degree in related field of study preferred
- Lead technologist or management experience preferred
